Playwright: Readers’ Theatre to Co-Author and Perform

Description

Give young writers the chance to add creative ideas to familiar fairy tales, fables and myths. Students read each script as is or complete written parts in each script before they perform. Then young "playwrights" read the parts they have written at the appropriate place in each play.

Co-authoring and performing will help both the struggling and competent reader and writer to improve reading and writing skills and to take pride in presenting the finished product.
