Attract students to your science curriculum! Are you looking for Literature-based science? Science-based literature? The Magic of Magnets offers your curriculum both.
Join Marcus the young Magician in a read-along story for primary students. He explores the characteristics of magnets and ultimately solves the Queen's dreadful dilemma in the Kingdom of Dreams.
Students then participate in hands-on science and language activities. The hands-on activities are correlated to the National Science Standards.
Students will identify, predict, experiment with, and record findings about objects, form a hypothesis, observe and make conclusions about magnets.
Teacher lesson plans include objectives, easy-to-follow lesson procedures, a science attitude survey, challenge and extension activities, Magnet Mania review game, a student journal My Magnet Manual and a culminating unit assessment.
